Is Italian marble actually better than Indian?

How heavy are these tables?

Small tables (30"-36"): 25-35 kg. Medium (40"-48"): 40-60 kg. Large (54"+): 70-100 kg. Yes, they're heavy. That's why we include free assembly—our team handles the lifting and placement.

Can marble crack?

Marble is stone—it's durable but not indestructible. Dropping heavy objects on the edges can chip it. Normal daily use? No problem. We use beveled edges and fiberglass reinforcement to minimize risk. Handle it like nice furniture, not a construction material.

Why 304-grade stainless steel specifically?

It's the same grade used in commercial kitchens and hospitals. It contains chromium that forms a protective layer—rust can't penetrate. Regular steel corrodes in humid climates. 304-grade doesn't. Ever. That's worth the price difference.

Do I really need to seal marble?

Sealing fills the microscopic pores in marble so liquids don't seep in and stain. Your table arrives pre-sealed. Resealing every 6-12 months takes 10 minutes and prevents permanent marks. Think of it like waxing a car—not required daily, but maintains appearance.

What if I have young kids?

Marble is actually easier to sanitize than wood and doesn't harbor bacteria. Spills wipe clean. That said: use placemats for messy activities, avoid sharp toys near edges, choose darker marble (shows fewer marks), consider engineered marble (more stain-resistant). Wood base or metal base?

Wood: Classic look, can include drawers, warmer aesthetic. Needs occasional polishing.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock items: 7-10 days. Custom orders: 30-45 days. We pack each table with triple-layer protection and provide tracking. Assembly team arrives separately to set it up.
