1. What is a PVD partition, technically?

PVD vs full glass partition

However, full glass partitions have limitations: they show every fingerprint and smudge, they require significantly more cleaning, they offer near-zero privacy in clear forms, and they can feel cold or clinical in residential settings. Weekly

Dust with a dry microfibre cloth. Five minutes maximum. That is the entire weekly maintenance.

Monthly

Wipe with a damp microfibre cloth and mild dish soap solution. Dry immediately with a clean cloth. Pay attention to the metal frame, glass panels (if any), and the base where it meets the floor.

Common issues and fixes

• Fingerprints on glass and metal: baby wipes or diluted isopropyl alcohol (70%). For high-touch areas, nano-coating treatment is available (₹2,000 add-on).

12. Nine mistakes Indian buyers make repeatedly

1. Confusing PVD with electroplating. The terms are sometimes used interchangeably by dishonest sellers. PVD is a vacuum molecular bond; electroplating is a surface-level deposit. They are not the same and they do not perform the same.
2. Not specifying steel grade. "Stainless steel" without SS 304 or SS 316 specification usually means SS 201, which rusts in humidity.
