The order the work has to happen in
Rooms get finished in a fixed sequence. Getting it wrong means furniture arriving before the wall is ready, or a partition going up after the carpet is laid.

- Wallpaper. After painting has cured, before furniture arrives.

Measure before you order, not after
The two things that go wrong on delivery day are a sofa that will not pass the door and a table too large for the room.

First, split the order: place the long-lead items, meaning custom sizes and anything for the main living and dining rooms, several weeks before the rest.
